Make a lasting impression with a collectible pen that writes as beautifully as it looks. This Red Jasper Triton Fountain Pen is more than a writing tool—it’s a statement of taste, craftsmanship, and intention.
Each pen from ASH Woodshops is individually handmade by me, Alan Huey, in my Wake Forest, North Carolina studio. Every pen body is carefully selected to complement the finest mechanical hardware, using materials such as domestic and exotic woods, highly figured burls, dyed acrylics, metals, stone, or mother of pearl encased in resin.
Shaped freehand on a lathe, no two pens are alike, thanks to natural variations in grain and color and the artistry of hand-turning. Each pen undergoes a meticulous 12–15 step finishing process, then polished, buffed, and sealed with a hard, durable wax for lasting protection.
Only the highest-quality hardware with durable plating is used, ensuring your heirloom-quality pen will be treasured for generations. After the final assembly and buffing to a glass-like shine, each piece is a true Fine Writing Instrument.
Whether for daily use or discerning collectors, every ASH Woodshops pen reflects timeless tradition, exquisite craftsmanship, and a commitment to superior quality. You’ll be proud to give it as a gift—or pass it down to future generations.
• Superior Quality
• Timeless Tradition
• Always Handmade

We work directly with you to determine your exact desires for custom and personalized orders. Once we reach agreement on the full scope of the order, a custom order will be created. The custom order must be paid before any materials or work will begin.
We add the size, colors, and shape description to each listing. Photos are of the actual item as each are made one at a time and each are unique.
Wood items are durable, but should never be submersed in water, or put in dishwasher. This will damage the item. Special care instructions are added where necessary on individual listings.
We do sell some items wholesale, and welcome opportunities for wholesale distribution.
individual listings are difficult to customize, because the listing is the actual item. But the item can be used as reference in creating a custom order that has design features exactly to your desire. about 25% of our sales are custom orders. We are good at it, and our customer are satisfied.
